May 27, 2010 The annual client education seminar is scheduled for May 27 from 7-8:30pm at the Hailey CSI Campus in Room 211. Dr. Craig Shoemaker DVM, MS will present "Osteoarthritis in the Equine Athlete...Treatment Developments and Options". Dr. Erin Crawford will present a short lecture on equine acupuncture and its applications. Refreshments will be provided. Please RSVP to Sawtooth Equine by 3pm on May 26. Dr Craig F. Shoemaker is an Equine Professional Services veterinarian with Boehringer Ingelheim Vetmedica, Inc. In this role, he provides technical support to the equine community. Dr. Shoemaker grew up in southern New Mexico and received his undergraduate degree in animal Science from New Mexico State University. His interest in equine embryo transfer led him to Colorado State University where he received a Master's Degree in Reproductive Physiology. Dr. Shoemaker worked in the reproductive industry for a number of years before returning to CSU to complete his veterinary degree. Since graduation from vet school, Dr. Shoemaker has worked in both private practice and industry. He currently resides in Nampa, Idaho.
